Thank you for downloading The Ashfield Menagerie! Me and my friend Tim worked together to make this game. It felt fitting to use an archive of so many images from the 90s to make a first person adventure murder mystery. As we neared the end of the jam, we realized that our ambitions just slightly exceeded our means for this project. During the jam week we programmed all of the game’s systems and created art for characters and the mansion. It was a lot of work! Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time left over for the actual writing of our murder mystery.

I just clicked through the screens and I'd be happy to play the game in the future, I really like those kind of murder mystery games. It would be nice if we could get an indicator of where we can go, otherwise it's a lot of mouse wobbling to find out. :D
